This is the time when I know I will be going to IAA, yet I still have to finish this year in regular high school. This is could be considered to be the worst time and many might think that I would just start blowing off high school now that it doesn’t matter as much. Quite the contrary, actually. After receiving the acceptance letter I have been more motivated to get everything completed for school this year and doing it well.
I think the really terrible time will be in July when it will be close to time for me to leave, but still more than a month away and the days will seem long. I am dreading that time.
At the moment, though, I am fairly relaxed. I am anxious to hear about what the next step will be. There was a problem with the bill that they sent us (they charged us more than they were supposed to), but that is being fixed. So I am wondering if I’ll be getting another mailing as soon as we make that first payment that will confirm my attendance for next fall.
